Important Deadlines

Nomination and application at GEA College

Firstly, students should contact their Erasmus+ coordinators at home institution to start nomination. Nominations must be sent to GEA College Erasmus+ coordinator – Mrs. Maruša Malovič via email Marusa.Malovic@gea-college.si
After receiveing the nomination, we organize a brief online interview with each incoming student in order to get to know you and ascertain your knowledge of English language. After a successful interview, students can send in their Application form.

Each nominated and accepted student receives further instruction on application via email.
The Learning Agreement can be send over email at a later date, but BEFORE you start your mobility at GEA College.

What else do I need to know?
Students are responsible for arranging their own accommodation, either in private apartments or youth hostels. The average monthly rent ranges from 300 to 500 EUR. Our International Office provides additional information and guidance to all accepted international students.

The Erasmus+ programme at GEA College is held entirely in English.

- Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is the biggest student association in Europe. It was born on the 16th October 1989 and legally registered in 1990 for supporting and developing student exchange. Is a non-profit international student organisation. Information for teachers and staff
GEA College warmly welcomes exchange teachers and visiting lecturers to contribute to our teaching programs in English. To ensure a smooth and impactful experience, it is essential to plan in advance. The best results are achieved when your teaching is integrated into our curriculum, offering meaningful contributions to our students’ learning journeys.
Application Process
You, or your Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator, can submit your application to Mrs. Maruša Malovič Šprah at marusa.malovic@gea-college.si, our Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator. Your application should include the following:
- CV
- Training or Teaching Agreement
- Proposed dates of your mobility
Please note: We do not offer lectures during July, August, and September, and therefore cannot host teaching exchanges in those months.
Your Mobility at GEA College
Teachers are invited to participate in short mobility programs, which require a minimum of 8 contact teaching hours. The teaching plan should be discussed and agreed upon between the home and host institutions to ensure a productive exchange.
Staff members are encouraged to join mobility programs such as job shadowing or exchanging best practices, providing excellent opportunities for professional growth and knowledge sharing.

Staff week 2024
In the 2024/2025 academic year, we were pleased to invite staff and lecturers to our International Teaching Week, which took place from 7th to 11th April 2024. This event provided a unique platform for exchange teachers to engage with our students, collaborate with colleagues, and share their expertise.
